Behind Gens Teahouse

Hello, I am Genesis and I am original from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. From a very young age I have been very passionate about culinary arts more specifically baking. Gens Teahouse was established in 2020 when I was still working as a police dispatcher for a local police agency. Fast forward to 2022, I took a leap of faith, I left my job to focus on my dream. I am a mother of a one year old and a wife. I have an extensive background in hospitality with over 5 years of experience. Some of my educational background includes an Associates Degree in General Studies and I am currently finishing my undergraduate education in Intelligence and Information Operations. With that being said, I am also fulfilling my dream of becoming a Pastry Chef. I am a Certified Food Handler and Food Manager to provide the safest experience under the Cottage Law Food Establishment in Texas.
